THE CROWN

The Crown is chosen by tournament combat as the rulers of the entire Kingdom. The tournaments are held twice a year with the earliest one is in March and those champions will assume the Crown in June. The same procedure is held at the Tourney in September for the champion to step up in January. The Crown’s reign for six months at a time and can repeat (if they are the champions). However, the Crown cannot compete in Crown Tourney while they are the reigning royalty.

DUTIES OF THE CROWN

Although it appears that the Crown is just there for the pagaentry, many duties are required of the reigning monarchy, and administrative, judiciary, and representative responsibilities require considerable effort.

SUCCESSORS TO THE CROWN

For the period of time between becoming the champion at the Crown Tournament and the swearing in ceremony, the successors retain the titles of Crown Prince and Crown Princess (or Prince Consort).
From June to the Crown Tournament in September and from January to the Crown Tournament in March, there are no successors to the throne.
